The Workplace Workout was designed by Perry Lieber. Working as an elite personal trainer for the past 10 years, Perry saw a commonality between all people that he worked with. Perry spent the Summers of 2011 and 2012 in Los Angeles, California working with professional athletes such as Al Horford of the Atlanta Hawks, Kyle Singler of the Detroit Pistons, and Fab Melo of the Boston Celtics. In addition to athletes, Perry trained celebrity Glenn Frey, lead singer of The Eagles who over the course of the years training, continued to travel and work and looks great for his age. Perry has trained a number of successful executives and it is in this experience that he became passionate about helping people who work at a desk or spend long hours commuting by car or plane. The targeted exercises are designed to help prevent and overcome rounding, tightening and discomfort.
Nora partnered with Perry to build the Foundwellness company. Nora has spent the past 10 years working in the corporate environment and the past 4 years building a career in marketing. Nora is a marketing professional for a SAS technology company and loves to learn new ways technology can benefit people in both their business and personal life. Before that, Nora worked as a project designer, building care centers and wellness facilities for the Hyatt “Classic Residence” in Denver, CO and Scottsdale, AZ. It was here she studied ergonomic design and health care guidelines. Nora has always been an athlete and played volleyball for a number of years and loves to surf.
Foundwellness, The Workplace Workout LLC is owned by Perry and his wife Nora. They have both spent their whole lives committed to health and fitness and global approaches to wellness. They own and operate The Workplace, a gym facility located in Santa Barbara, CA. With the start of 2013, they kicked off their on-demand online video series to meet the needs of the growing workforce that frequently travels, works from home, or in remote offices.
